Fearless Birth California is an organization working to help all families have access to birth choices. Whether they choose to have a doula assist them at the hospital, a midwife at home, or a birth center birth, we believe that all mamas have the right to the choices which allow them to have a fearless birth.
We invite you to join us for an evening benefitting access to birth choices for all families. This will be a fantastic evening to celebrate birth stories and birth choices. We will be viewing the new film Birth Story: Ina May Gaskin and the Farm Midwives, as well as two shorts documenting local women and their birth stories. Afterwards, join us for a discussion with each other and our panel of birth professionals. Rounding out with a fun raffle, a silent auction, and more!

Birth Story: Ina May Gaskin and the Farm Midwives
BIRTH STORY: INA MAY GASKIN AND THE FARM MIDWIVES captures a spirited group of women who taught themselves how to deliver babies on a 1970s hippie commune, rescued modern midwifery from extinction, and changed the way a generation thought about childbirth. Today, as nearly 1/3 of all US babies are born via C-section, they labor on, fighting to preserve their knowledge and pushing, once again, for the rebirth of birth.
